Does a naturally dewy, healthy glow sound like something for you? Then you'll love our new family member! Namely GLOWiD's own Glow & Plump Chok Chok Serum! A moisturizing and plumping serum inspired by the Korean expression "Chok Chok".

So what does Chok Chok mean? Well, it means. Chok Chok originally comes from a Korean phrase that means "moist" but today is most often used to describe a dewy, plumped and moisturized skin with a lot of glow! The trend has a strong focus on multi-layered moisture and therefore includes moisturizing and brightening skincare products. Chok Chok skin is so moisturized that it glows without makeup!

So, we wanted to create a skincare product that gives that natural chok chok glow, and since we love to take inspiration from Korea, we have learned that if you want to get a naturally glowing makeup, it starts with really good skin care. Our vision was therefore a multifunctional product that can be used both as a skin care product but also together with makeup!

And voila! After years of product development (in Korea, of course), we are finally launching Glow & Plump Chok Chok Serum!

1. Daily Serum: Use after cleansing and toning by massaging into skin with small circular motions before continuing to lock in all the moisture and nourishment with a moisturizer.

2. Glow Primer: Use as a glow primer at the end of your daily skincare routine. Then follow with your bb cream, cc cream or foundation.

3. Natural Highlighter: Apply over cheekbones and under eyebrows and nose bone as a final step in your routine.

4. Mix with Makeup: Mix it with makeup for a smooth application that lays softly over the skin and gives that naturally glowing look. Mix about 1-2 pumps with your bb cream, cc cream or foundation, with your concealer or with your blush for a glowing and nourishing finish.

Now. Let's get into the yummy details of what's hiding in the Chok Chok Serum. Here are some of the wonderful ingredients we've chosen to include!

What is it that gives such a nice GLOW? 🍯

• Propolis: As many of you know, one of our absolute favorite ingredients is propolis, an antioxidant that gives a natural glow, is anti-inflammatory and works to calm irritation and inflammation in the skin.

• Royal Jelly combined with Propolis gives the skin a long-lasting glow.

What is it that moisturizes? 💧

• Sodium Hyaluronate (high molecular), Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate (medium molecular) and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid (small molecular): Deeply moisturizes the skin.

• Panthenol and Ceramide NP: Moisturizes and retains moisture in the skin throughout the day so that the skin stays hydrated for a long time.

What is it that plumps the skin? 💖

• 9x Peptide Complex: This blend of peptides promotes collagen, which in turn results in plumper skin.

• Adenosine: Promotes cell and collagen renewal.

• Omija Berry Extract and Omija Fruit Extract: Plumps and increases skin elasticity while reducing pigmentation/brown spots, evening out skin tone and soothing the skin.

What gives a more even skin tone? ✨

• Niacinamide Vitamin B3: Balances excess sebum production and dead skin cells and boosts cell renewal.

• Ginger extract: Powerful antioxidant that controls melanin production which in excess can cause pigmentation/brown spots, helping to even out skin tone.

• Rice bran oil: Rich in vitamin E and minerals, works against free radicals and evens out skin tone.

What protects and soothes the skin? 🫧

• Tocopheryl Acetate: A derivative of vitamin E and an antioxidant that prevents skin damage and protects it from free radicals.

• Centella Asiatica Extract: Also known as the herb that tigers roll over to heal their wounds. Contains, among other things, MadeCassic Acid which has an outstanding repairing function and has been used in Korea long ago for this very purpose. It also promotes collagen production.

• Licorice extract: Contains glycyrrhizic acid which is detoxifying while working against pigmentation spots/uneven skin tone.

We recommend Chok Chok Serum to anyone who wants to work with radiance, moisture, against fine lines and a more even skin tone. It is optimal for normal, dry and mature skin that has started to lose firmness and elasticity. We recommend Chok Chok Serum from 20 years of age at the earliest.
